Can Amlopin cause shortness of breath?
Good morning. I have been using Amlopin 5 for some time - once a day. In the process of using the drug appeared strange shortness of breath - I have the impression that I lack air, from time to time I have to take a very deep breath. What could this mean? This symptom does not occur constantly, sometimes it intensifies, sometimes it disappears. Could it be a side effect of Amlopin?

Shortness of breath is included in the list of side effects when using Amlopin. They are a side effect that occurs uncommonly during treatment, i.e. in more than 1/1000 and less than 1/100 of patients. If this symptom intensifies and significantly affects functioning, the doctor treating the occurrence of shortness of breath should be consulted in order to exclude other causes or change therapy.
