If my partner has a penis infection, should I also be treated?
Hello. My partner today (Wednesday) noticed changes on the penis, which testify to ringworm. However, we had the last intercourse from Saturday to Sunday. Nothing happens to me. Do I have to treat myself in this case? Thank you in advance for your reply. I will add that in this niezzuele I finished the treatment of pecherza inflammation. Until Saturday, we abstained from sexual contact.

The key to deciding whether you should take medication is the correct diagnosis of the disease in your partner (e.g. a dermatologist-venereologist). Until then, intercourse should not be undertaken. If the lesions turn out to be an infectious venereal disease, you may be offered diagnostics and/or treatment. In case of diagnosis of fungal inflammation of the glans and foreskin in a man, it is also recommended to treat his partner as well.
