In response to the great interest of patients, a non-reimbursed drug Ozempic from parallel imports appeared in pharmacies. The availability of the drug in pharmacies can be checked here: Ozempic 0.5 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275329 Ozempic 1 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275351

Theoretically, with a pen 0.5 mg we can only give a dose of 0.5 mg. The manufacturer does not provide for the possibility of measuring a smaller dose of the drug on this pen, so to administer 0.25 mg you need to have a pen 0.25 mg, and to give 0.5 mg - pen 0.5 mg. In practice, patients divide the doses and measure the lower dose into the so-called "cliques", i.e. they count how many dashes there are when winding the full dose and then set the knob in half. However, this is not a method that guarantees that the given dose will be as it should be and it is not a solution recommended by the manufacturer. Therefore, it is most convenient for you to use pena 0.25 mg.
