Both Hepa-Merz 3000 and Heparegen are prescription drugs that determine the selection and legitimacy of the preparation used. Hepa-Merz 3000 contains the ornithine compound, and its action is to stimulate the removal of ammonia harmful to the body, which is converted to urea, thanks to which ammonia is eliminated from the body in a non-toxic form. The drug is indicated for use in the course of hepatic encephalopathy, i.e. disorders of the nervous system, which is caused by severe, acute or chronic liver diseases. The active substance in Hepargen is thiazolidinecarboxylic acid, otherwise known as thymonic. It is transformed in the liver into a compound that supports the breakdown of toxic substances, thus counteracting damage to the liver parenchyma. It also increases the secretion of bile. It is used as an auxiliary drug in liver diseases of various origins. Both drugs have a protective effect on the liver, but they contain other active substances and differ in their mechanism of action. In order to ensure the proper good of the preparation, you should contact your doctor and inform him exactly about the medicines you are taking.
