After what time will nifuroxazide work?

Is it possible to determine how quickly Nifuroxazide gives results, i.e. if after 5 days there is no improvement, the drug is not effective?

Nifuroxazide is an antibacterial substance that will not be effective in diarrhea with a non-bacterial basis, e.g. viral. If you do not notice any improvement after 5 days of use, you should discontinue this medicine. Please use primarily electrolytes to hydrate, e.g. Gastrolite (https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/32013/gastrolit-proszek-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki) and probiotics such as Enterol (https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27293/enterol-250-kapsulki/apteki). You have not provided details of the health and age of the person affected by the diarrhoea, so I limit myself to general advice.
