Although it has been shown that in breastfeeding women the plasma concentration of metronidazole after topical use of Rozex cream is significantly lower than after oral administration of metronidazole, it is not excluded that the drug may cause side effects such as gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea, vomiting), allergic rash, weakness. If you observe any disturbing symptoms, you should consult a pediatrician. You may need a control blood count (laboratory test).
