How to give an injection of Depo-Provera?

How do I inject the contraceptive depo provera? There is no leaflet telling you exactly what to do one by one or what not to do. I'm afraid I'm going to do something wrong and the drug won't work. I do not know whether to remove the rubber stopper or other clog from the ampoule or insert the needle / syringe through the cork. Please instruct me. Thank you in advance

Sorry I wrote wrong. It is not an ampoule but a vial. There is no syringe included in the package
