According to the manufacturer, the problem with the availability of Ozempic does not only concern Polish. The drug is difficult to access around the world. This is due to the increased interest of patients in this product. At the moment, however, the company is not able to increase its processing capacity. Therefore, although deliveries to wholesalers are carried out regularly, the drug is still missing.
In the whole of Poland only one piece and it is in Krakow and it is reserved......
It is not true that it is the fault of increased demand. Deliveries are made in trace quantities. Pharmacies get 2 pcs each. Drug. China has a hard lockdown and this is the main reason for the shortages. The pandemic situation has exposed the whole truth about where drugs come from, and certainly ingredients for the production of medicines.
The pharmacist today said that he will not order because he is not in the warehouse and it is not known when it will be (near Warsaw). When asked what the patient should do during treatment, no one can answer the question whether the drug can be suddenly discontinued, the answer is that you can not.
How can you write that wholesalers are constantly supplied, when getting the drug borders on a miracle? Where you don't call, it's nowhere to be found, eternally annoyed pharmacists complain that you're the millionth person who calls asking about Ozempic 1 mg. I've been trying to get the drug since week 2 and I still haven't succeeded.
