To @Asia: Actually, in my response I suggested the previous composition of the product and the fact that the dye E 153 is obtained from vegetable carbon, just like activated carbon. Nevertheless - the dye is obtained during combustion at a lower temperature than in the case of activated carbon and is added to food products or supplements in small amounts - so the absorption effect in this case does not occur. Are you sure that the dye e153 is activated carbon? I received conflicting information. It seems to me, and practically borders with certainty, that it is vegetable coal, wood coal having nothing to do with activated carbon.

Black carbon E 153 contained in the Carbosal preparation has not only a coloring effect, but also an antidiarrheal effect - it is activated carbon, i.e. a raw material obtained from carbon material, which has m.in absorption properties - so it can be used in the treatment of diarrhea.
