Budesonide, which is a component of the drug Miflonide, is included in the COVID-19 pharmacotherapy guidelines. It should be used as soon as possible in all outpatients (ill at home, where the disease is rather mild) over 65 years of age and over 50 years of age if they suffer from any comorbidities. The drug should be used in a sufficiently high dosage 2 times a day. In adult patients, but younger than the indicated 55 years, the administration of the drug can be considered - the decision lies with the doctor. Indeed, current or past tuberculosis is a contraindication to the use of drugs with budesonide. However, if the doctor had knowledge of this circumstance, then apparently by prescribing Miflonide he decided that the new coronavirus may pose a greater threat to you than a short-term course of inhaled glucocorticosteroid. In case of doubt, it is best to dispel them directly with the doctor who prescribed the drug. I attach additional information: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/leki-na-covid-19
