Can frequent cytology affect its outcome?

Yesterday I was at the cytology in the family clinic, on the same day I had a visit to my gynecologist and he also examined me for cytology (it was not planned). Today I only learned that it cannot be done too often. Could this affect the outcome of the study?

Cytological examination does not have any negative effect on the health of a woman - it is a non-invasive collection of a sample of cells from the cervical region. However, twice taking on the same day is not justified - it does not improve the diagnostic value of such a test. It is performed primarily as part of prophylaxis, so it is important to repeat it at intervals agreed with the gynecologist, so as not to miss any disturbing changes. I have no knowledge that doing it twice on the same day affects its outcome. This seems unlikely to me, because as I mentioned, the study does not leave any lasting consequences, but please discuss it with your gynecologist.
