The antibiotic Fromilid Uno does not impair the effectiveness of the contraceptive implant. Antibiotics disrupt the composition of the bacterial flora in the intestines, necessary to convert the hormones contained in all types of pills into active forms, which limits their absorption from the tablets into the blood. Since the gastrointestinal tract is "bypassed" during the use of the implant, the antibiotic will not affect the absorption of the hormone from the implant and protection will be preserved.
