These preparations do not interact with each other in clinically significant ways. During the Bronch-Vaxom treatment, vaccines, including MMR, can be administered. Bronch-Vaxom is supposed to stimulate non-specific (innate) immunity of the body. It acts on non-specific defense mechanisms, primarily on phagocytic activity and the production of nonspecific factors such as lysozyme or interferon gamma. It can also stimulate the production of specific antibodies against bacterial antigens included in the preparation. Contraindications to the use of Broncho-Vaxom are, m.in, acute infectious diseases, active tuberculosis, congenital and acquired immune disorders, immunosuppressive therapy, autoimmune diseases, diabetes, renal failure and heart failure. Vaccination is not included as contraindicated during the course of treatment.
