Can inofem and ovarin be combined together? I have it recommended for insulin resistance, but as I read the leaflets the actions are similar.

I do not see any contraindications to the use of both preparations together, if so ordered by the doctor. Inofem in one sachet contains 2000 mg of myo-inositol and 200 mcg of folic acid. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/37791/inofem-proszek-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki Ovarin in one tablet contains 550 mg of inositol (in the form of isomers: myo-inositol, D-chiro-inositol), 200 mcg of folic acid, 500 IU of vitamin D, 0.7 mg of vitamin B6, 3 mg of pantothenic acid and 1.25 mcg of vitamin B12. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/90319/ovarin-tabletki/apteki In people with insulin resistance, there may be a reduced availability of inositol and its deficiency, so the doctor may have decided to increase its supply by using two preparations with inositol in the composition at once. What's more, the most beneficial effects are obtained by using various forms of inositols - in the case of the inclusion of Ovarin, in addition to myo-inositol from Inofem, we also take D-chiro-inositol. No side effects of inositol have been reported in doses up to 4 g per day, so the use of both preparations at once remains safe. Folic acid in higher doses is also not a danger (400 mcg of folic acid per day is even recommended for supplementation in every woman of childbearing age).
