Since physiological menstruation does not occur when taking birth control pills, withdrawal bleeding (artificially induced bleeding caused by a decrease in hormone levels in the blood) cannot be expected to last as long as natural menstruation. Withdrawal bleeding - especially in the first 3-4 months of taking tablets may be more abundant or more stingy, it may be prolonged, spotting may appear. If you use the tablets correctly, there is no reason to worry. The situation should be leveled out with the time of use of tablets.
