Is it possible to take Depresanum if I take Gabapentin and Skpexa?

Good morning, is it possible to include in the used drugs DEPRESANUM - dietary supplement? Currently, it takes gabapentine and skudexe. The psychiatrist wrote me zoloft - but after it my urine stopped. Could I take something herbal?

No, do not combine the dietary supplement Depresanum with Skudexa (as well as with Zoloft), as the L-tryptophan present in the supplement increases the risk of side effects, especially serotonin syndrome and the increase in the potency of Skudexa. Both L-tryptophan and tramadol - the active compound of the drug Skudexa - belong to a group of drugs that affect the concentration of serotonin in the brain. In very rare cases, patients taking this combination may develop serotonin syndrome consisting in too much increase in the concentration of serotonin in the brain. Some of its symptoms are, for example, anxiety, mood changes or sleep problems. It is therefore possible that the cause of the daughter's problems may lie in this matter. For what purpose would you like to take a herbal preparation? What would he do?
