Can I use vaginal preparations such as Infectvagin, Lactovaginal constantly? What causes the constant use of vaginal preparations?

I have recurrent vaginal mycosis for over half a year and I wonder if the constant use of globules does not harm? For these 6 months I consulted a gynecologist but since November I have been using globules that I have at home such as infektvagin, lactovaginal.

It is not recommended to constantly use vaginal preparations without medical indications. Continuous use of disinfectant globules (such as Infectvagin) can cause local irritation, which can be mistakenly perceived as a recurrence of infection. There may also be an imbalance of the bacterial flora of the vagina, which increases the risk of another infection and discomfort. The use of Lactovaginal should last 1 week. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated (that is, use up to 2 weeks of the drug). In the event that the ailments do not go away after this time, it is recommended to consult a gynecologist: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/42178/lactovaginal-kapsulki-dopochwowe/ulotka/251859 In the event that the infection recurs and it is necessary to constantly use vaginal preparations, I encourage you to consult the attending physician again. For effective therapy, it is necessary to determine the cause of recurrent infections (such as wearing artificial underwear, recurrence of infection by an untreated partner). I encourage you to familiarize yourself with additional materials that may be useful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/infekcje-intymne-jak-sobie-poradzic
