How long after taking Distreptaza should the blood clot disappear?
After what time should the blood clot disappear? It was about 3 weeks since I started taking Distreptase (2 per day, 18 pcs in total) and I didn't notice any difference. The nodule has not decreased. Does this drug work with a delay? I have a follow-up visit in 2.5 months and I do not know whether to wait or go to the doctor earlier.

If you do not feel improvement and the treatment has not brought the expected results, it is worth consulting a doctor beforehand. Distreptase is a preparation in the form of suppositories, containing two active substances: streptokinase and streptodornase. This drug dissolves blood clots and morphotic components of pus. Thanks to this, other drugs used (e.g. antibiotics) and antibodies have better access to inflammatory changes, thus reducing noticeable ailments and accelerating the treatment time.
