Hello. I am in the initial pregnancy. The cough doctor recommended that I inhale with Mukosolvan. Out of absent-mindedness, I'm not sure if I added saline. I inhaled for a while. Can something unsafe happen to my little one?

Combining Mucosolvan with saline solution is not the only form of administration of this medicine. Mucosolvan can also be administered as a stand-alone preparation, i.e. without dilution with salt. "Mucosolvan inhalations can be administered using any modern inhaler (except steam). The nebulization solution can be mixed with saline (0.9% sodium chloride solution) in a 1:1 ratio for optimal air hydration, especially when using a respirator." If you forgot to dilute the medicine, nothing will happen. It's just that your respiratory system will be less moisturized. However, this does not carry any risks for the child or for you.
