Ointments and gels containing NSAIDs (ketoprofen, diclofenac, nimesulide, naproxen) have only an effect supporting the proper therapy of rheumatoid arthritis. Their use makes sense mainly in the case of joints located not too deep (e.g. knee joint, hand joints), which allows to achieve the appropriate concentration of the drug.
