Dotychczas nie opisano interakcji maści ichtiolowej z innymi lekami, dlatego wydaje się, że nie ma przeciwwskazań do jej stosowania podczas przyjmowania leku Izotek. Nie wydaje mi się jednak, aby było konieczne wspomaganie się innymi preparatami. Zazwyczaj Izotek stosuje się w monoterapii, czyli jako jedyny lek.
Sugerowałabym bardziej zadbać w czasie terapii o odbudowę bariery hydrolipidowej, co jest szczególnie ważne podczas stosowania leków o potencjalne wysuszającym:
