Brak jest danych klinicznych dotyczących stosowania erdosteiny w czasie karmienia piersią. Badania na zwierzętach nie wykazują bezpośredniego lub pośredniego szkodliwego wpływu na rozwój pourodzeniowy. Niemniej jednak nie zaleca się przepisywania leku kobietom karmiącym piersią.
