Is it safe to use Budesonide Lek-Am for laryngitis or epiglossitis if this is not described in the leaflet?

Good morning. I was prescribed for laryngitis or epigloticitis (the doctor said so) Budesonide LEK-AM powder to inh. hard capsule400/. D.S 2 x 1 ins. Is it safe? I read about this drug and nowhere is it written that it is for laryngitis.

Sterydy, do których należy budezonid - substancja czynna leku Budezonid Lek-Am - mają działanie przeciwzapalne, w związku z czym mogą być stosowane w chorobach zapalnych, np. zapaleniu krtani czy nagłośni. Jest to powszechna praktyka.

W ulotce opisane są tylko wskazania rejestracyjne leku, co nie oznacza, że lekarz - zgodnie ze swoją najlepszą wiedzą i doświadczeniem - nie może go użyć w innym schorzeniu, w którym może być pomocny. Jest to zastosowanie leku poza wskazaniami, czyli "off-label":
