Should I go to a gynecologist with vaginal pain during intercourse?

Two weeks ago I had sex with my boyfriend, something happened then and at some point it hurt terribly in my vagina. We took a two-week break from sex and today we had another attempt that even half of it failed. The boy barely put in and already terribly everything inside began to hurt me, I have never had it like that before. It is also worth adding that I use Adaring vaveatric discs, I always had sex with the disc inside, which made me think that maybe it rubbed something, so now especially for the time of sex I pulled it out but it still hurt terribly. Should I go to the gynecologist with this?
