When to put the Evra patch after a 7-day break?
Good morning I applied the first patch on the day of menstruation (21.10.2021) another second patch was glued (28.10.2021) and the third patch (4.11.2021) on 11.11.2021 the third patch was removed from the package and there was a week break in which I got bleeding. The first patch I should stick the same 7 days after a week's break, i.e. sticking the patch fell on November 18 and so I did. Then reading some of the explanations about sticking the patch shows that I should stick it on Friday (I use evra patches) did I do the right thing by sticking a new patch from the new package on Thursday or should I do it on Friday?

Przyklejenie plastra dnia 21.10, 28.10 oraz 4.11 było wykonane prawidłowo. Plaster powinien zostać odklejony 12.11, a nie 11.11. Wtedy kolejny plaster powinien być naklejony po 7 dniowej przerwie czyli 19.11. Należy pamiętać, że nowy plaster przyklejamy od razu po oderwaniu poprzedniego. Łatwo to zapamiętać, kiedy wyznaczy się 1 dzień tygodnia np. czwartek. Jeżeli pierwszy plaster przyklei Pani w czwartek, każdy kolejny naklejany (oraz odklejany) powinien być tego samego dnia tygodnia.
Jeżeli odkleiła Pani plaster o jeden dzień wcześniej (11.11) to prawidłowo nakleiła Pani plaster 18.11, czyli po 7 dniowej przerwie.
Wydłużenie przerwy powoduje osłabienie działania antykoncepcyjnego, dlatego w tym przypadku antykoncepcja została zachowana.
