Is it possible to use Exacyl for menstruation during COVID-19?
Is it possible to use Exacyl during menstruation when I am infected with COVID-19? The doctor recommended me Exacyl for very abundant menstruation, hemorrhagic, with clots and this drug helps a lot. I'm in the middle of COVID19 right now and I'm just starting my period – I'm wondering if I can take this medication as I have been so far?

Exacyl nie powinien być stosowany m.in. u pacjentów z ostrą zakrzepicą żył. Dotychczasowe badania nad zakażeniem koronawirusem SARS-CoV-2 sugerują, że u części pacjentów występują powikłania zakrzepowo-zatorowe (jak np. zakrzepica żył głębokich). Natomiast samo zachorowanie nie jest pewnikiem wystąpienia tego typu powikłania.
Stąd prawdopodobnie lek Exacyl można stosować przy zachorowaniu na COVID-19 z zachowaniem środków ostrożności, ponieważ może zwiększać się ryzyko wystąpienia działań niepożądanych preparatu. Zachęcam do dokładnej obserwacji swojego organizmu. W przypadku wystąpienia jakichkolwiek niepokojących objawów, zaleca się konsultację telefoniczną z lekarzem:
