Krem Aldara przeznaczony jest między innymi do terapii brodawek zewnętrznych narządów płciowych u osób dorosłych. Zgodnie z dokumentacją leku Aldara: "Jeśli występują brodawki wewnętrzne: nie wprowadzać kremu Aldara do cewki moczowej (otwór, z którego wycieka mocz), pochwy (kanał rodny), szyjki macicy (wewnętrzny organ
