Is ampicillin the same as amoxicillin?
Is ampicillin the same as amoxicillin? In the swab I came out with a bacterium that is sensitive to ampicillin and at home I have Augumentin. My doctor won't take me until a week away and I'm wondering if I should start using an antibiotic if it's appropriate. Best regards

Nie, amoksycylina i ampicylina to różne nazwy, które nie są synonimami dotyczącymi tego samego związku chemicznego. To dwa różne leki.

Nie należy stosować leku Augmentin, gdyż nie zawiera on ampicyliny oraz z tego względu, że jest to lek wydawany na receptę.
