Po przyjęciu ellaOne około 2 na 100 kobiet zajdą w ciążę. Zależne jest to, między innymi, od dnia cyklu. Lek ma za zadanie zablokować owulację, zatem jeśli pacjentka zażyje lek po owulacji - nie ma on szansy zadziałać.
