Can Levoxa be used to treat gonorrhea?

Hello, is Levoxa 500 on gonorrhea? The doctor prescribed me this antibiotic but I do not have an accurate diagnosis.

Levoxa is an antibacterial medicine containing levofloxacin (a fluoroquinolone). It has antibacterial properties and is used in adults primarily in the treatment of acute pyelonephritis and complicated urinary tract infection, chronic bacterial prostatitis and pulmonary anthrax. Levoxa is also sometimes used to treat gonorrhea.

We wrote about what gonorrhea is and how it is treated here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/leki-na-rzezaczke

More information about Levoxa can be found in the leaflet: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/43348/levoxa-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka

There are home tests available in pharmacies that allow you to detect gonorrhea yourself (after adding to your cart, you can compare their prices in online pharmacies and order them for home delivery or pickup at the pharmacy of your choice), such as:

In cities such as Warsaw, Wrocław, Łódź or Białystok, products can be ordered with instant delivery even in 1 hour thanks to the Wolt Drive service - check if the service is available in your location:
