Could Trisequens used for amenorrhea cause something to be wrong with me in the future?
Good morning. I'm very worried. When I was 19 years old, I went to the gynecologist because I did not have a period of 2 months. The doctor prescribed me trisequens tablets. I took them for over a year - the doctor did not tell me about any side effects, she wanted to talk to me on average, and I was young and lost and did not want to undermine her authority. After stopping the pills, I still did not have a period. After all this, I had an ultrasound done and everything was fine. However, worried, I was looking for advice on the Internet and it turned out that these drugs are intended for postmenopausal people, and not for young girls who did not have a period for a while. I was not informed about it and I am very stressed that because I took them something in the future may be wrong with me? Could this dose (2mg estradiol) have been too high for me? please reply, because I am very worried.

Rzeczywiście zarejestrowane wskazania do stosowania leku Trisequens to hormonalna terapia zastępcza u kobiet w okresie menopauzy. Nie oznacza to jednak, że lekarz nie może zastosować takiego preparatu zgodnie ze swoją wiedzą i doświadczeniem w ramach tak zwanej terapii off-label w innych wskazaniach. Leki hormonalne są często stosowane w zaburzeniach miesiączkowania. Więcej na ten temat:

Każdy lek może, chociaż nie musi powodować działania niepożądane. Związane są one głównie z okresem przyjmowania preparatu. Estradiol zawarty w leku Trisequens jest identyczny z estradiolem wytwarzanym przez jajniki u kobiet i jest klasyfikowany jako naturalny estrogen. Nie jest to więc składnik, który mógłby spowodować, że mogłaby Pani odnieść jakieś długofalowe niekorzystne szkody na zdrowiu.
