Can erosions cause frequent intimate infections and other disturbing symptoms?

Hi, I am a young person, a week ago I was at the gynecologist who said that I have an erosions. I found out that my mother also had Erosions. Is it possible that Erose causes more frequent intimate infection. It was on the last visit that the doctor confirmed it, But I prefer to make sure here. Does erosions cause pain at intercourse, I fall off sometimes white and sometimes gently yellow . I will be very grateful, the doctor also did me cytology, But I have to wait two weeks for the result. And I'm not hiding that I'm a little worried about it. Thanks in advance for your reply.
