Zemdlenie i omdlenie jest to to samo.
Zgodnie z definicją zawartą w słowniku języka polskiego zemdlenie jest to chwilowa utrata przytomności. Natomiast omdlenie definiuje się jako chwilową utratę przytomności lub opadnięcie z sił, słabość, niemoc.
