Z uwagi na to, że Amitryptylinum to lek wydawany na receptę, lekarz zdecyduje, kiedy i w jaki sposób przerwać leczenie, aby uniknąć nieprzyjemnych objawów, które mogą wystąpić po nagłym odstawieniu leku (np. ból głowy, złe samopoczucie, bezsenność i
drażliwość).

Zapewne środek należało będzie odstawiać stopniowo, jednak w każdym razie należy trzymać się ściśle zaleceń lekarza.
