Can a small amount of pink mucus be the onset of withdrawal bleeding, or rather implantation bleeding associated with pregnancy?
Today marks the third day since I removed the contraceptive ring. I used it for the first time, it was founded on the first day of natural menstruation. I took it out after three weeks, it was not damaged. Since yesterday, my belly has been pouring, and this morning I noticed a small amount of pink mucus on the insole. Could it be a harbinger/onset of withdrawal bleeding, or rather implantation bleeding associated with pregnancy? As I wrote, this was the first cycle in which I used hormonal contraception and the ring was used according to the instructions. Do I have any reason to worry about pregnancy?

Jeśli stosowała Pani krążek antykoncepcyjny prawidłowo, to ryzyko ciąży jest bardzo małe. W czasie przerwy w stosowaniu systemu powinno wystąpić krwawienie z odstawienia, które jednak może mieć inne nasilenie i przebieg niż fizjologiczna miesiączka.
Do tak zwanego krwawienia implantacyjnego (zagnieżdżenia się zarodka w ścianie macicy) dochodzi jedynie u około jednej trzeciej - jednej czwartej kobiet. Dochodzi do niego mniej więcej pomiędzy 6-12 dniem od zapłodnienia. Jednocześnie, ze względu na wędrówkę jaja w drogach rodnych kobiety, jak i ze względu na czas przeżywalności plemników, nie zawsze dzień stosunku bez zabezpieczenia jest tożsamy z dniem, w którym doszło do zapłodnienia.
Plamienie implantacyjne jest zazwyczaj dużo krótsze niż okres, może trwać nawet tylko kilka godzin, a maksymalnie do 3 dni. Jest także zdecydowanie mniej obfite niż regularna miesiączka.
