How long after taking ciprofloxacin can I breastfeed?

Good morning, I'm breastfeeding. Unfortunately, I had to take the antibiotic cipronex. How long after the last dose can I safely breastfeed my baby? I will be grateful for your quick response. Thank you in advance.

Ciprofloksacyna ulega eliminacji z organizmu po około 6-7h. Stosowanie jej w trakcie karmienia piersią jest zdecydowanie przeciwwskazane, ze względu na ryzyko uszkodzenia chrząstek stawowych u dziecka. Najlepiej będzie, jeśli wstrzyma się Pani od karmienia piersią właśnie około 7-8h po przyjęciu ostatniej dawki antybiotyku.
