Hello. In the last cycle I used NuvaRing for the first time, it was founded according to the instructions on the first day of menstruation. It was removed after 3 weeks at a similar time, it was not damaged in any way, only it was slightly bent, it did not have the shape of a perfect circle only more oval. During this time, I normally lived without additional protection, also on the 'fertile days' of the natural cycle. I did not take any drugs at that time that would interact with the disc. Two days have passed since the disc was removed and withdrawal bleeding has not yet appeared. Do I have reason to be anxious and think that the puck didn't work?

Krwawienie z ostawienia powinno pojawić się podczas tygodniowej przerwy w stosowaniu krążka. Nie występuje jednak natychmiast. Często będzie to na drugi lub trzeci dzień po usunięciu krążka.
W czasie stosowania antykoncepcji hormonalnej nie występują "dni płodne", jak podczas standardowego cyklu - na tym między innymi opiera się skuteczność metody. Zgodnie z informacją o leku: "Jeśli krwawienie z odstawienia nie wystąpiło w terminie, ale pacjentka stosowała NuvaRing zgodnie z zaleceniami i w tym czasie nie stosowała innych leków, prawdopodobieństwo ciąży jest bardzo małe". Jeśli jest Pani mimo to zaniepokojona - można wykonać test ciążowy.
