Tabletki leku Sumamed należy połykać w całości. Nie wolno ich rozpuszczać w wodzie.
W przypadku problemów z połykaniem, należy zwrócić się do lekarza z prośbą o przepisanie antybiotyku w formie tabletek do rozpuszczenia w wodzie lub zawiesiny.
