Is it safe to change drugs from Prestarium and Diuresin SR to Karbicombi?

Hi I am currently using prestarium 10mg and diuresin sr1.5 but the doctor changed my medicine to cardiocombi32+25 and I'm afraid if it is not too high dose or both drugs have a similar stezenie

Lek Kardiocombi nie istnieje w wykazie leków. W przypadku pytania o lek Karbicombi proszę czytać dalej.

Lek Karbicombi zawiera połączenie dwóch substancji czynnych. Są to hydrochlorotiazyd oraz kandesartan. Są to różne substancje czynne niż te, które Pani stosuje dotychczas. Dotychczas stosowała Pani indapamid (Diuresin SR) oraz peryndopryl (Prestarium). Leki wykazują różne mechanizmy działania obniżającego ciśnienie krwi.

Prawdopodobnie zmiana nastąpiła ze względu na np. zbyt słaby efekt obniżający ciśnienie. W przypadku wątpliwości zachęcam do konsultacji z lekarzem prowadzącym. Decyzja o zmianie leku powinna być poprzedzona konsultacją lekarską.
