U pacjentów z niewydolnością serca stosowanie plastrów przeciwbólowych powinno się poprzedzić konsultacją z lekarzem, jednak z uwagi na to, że organizm wchłania tylko małą ilość diklofenaku z plastra, jeśli lek Itami jest stosowany prawidłowo, to jego jednorazowe użycie nie jest przeciwwskazane.
