Should Biofacef be used to treat pneumonia?

Is bioracef the right antibiotic for post-COVID pneumonia? When tetracycline was used for pneumonia. Here we have a penicillin antibiotic.

Wskazaniem do stosowania cefuroksymu (substancji czynnej leku Bioracef) jest, m.in. ostre i przewlekłe zapalenie oskrzeli, zakażone rozstrzenia oskrzeli, bakteryjne zapalenie płuc, ucha środkowego, zapalenie zatok, migdałków podniebiennych i gardła.
Dlatego jeśli lekarz zdecydował o takiej formie leczenia, proszę postępować według jego zaleceń.

Cefuroksym należy do grupy cefalosporyn (nie penicylin), penicyliny i cefalosporyny należą do antybiotyków beta-laktamowych.
