Can I take Sumamed for up to 12 days?

Good morning. Due to covid, the doctor prescribed sumamed 500 mg, a dose of 1 tab. per day, for 6 days. Three days ago I finished treatment. As a result of the follow-up visit, the doctor recommended the continuation of antibiotic therapy for another 6 days. Can I take this antibiotic for so long?

Odpowiedzi na Pani pytanie może udzielić lekarz zaznajomiony z Pani stanem zdrowia. W mojej ocenie, jeśli otrzymała Pani zalecenie dalszego przyjmowania leku Sumamed, jest to niezbędne dla Pani zdrowia. Zapewne lekarz nie zapisałby Pani zbędnej terapii, która mogłaby zaszkodzić.

W przypadku wątpliwości co do zażycia leku, należy rozwiewać je bezpośrednio w rozmowie z lekarzem, który go zalecił, gdyż osoby postronne pozbawione dostępu do zapoznania się z Pani stanem zdrowia, nie mają możliwości recenzowania zaleconej terapii.
