Nie ma przeciwwskazań do stosowania preparatów zawierających dobesylan wapnia, diosminę i wyciąg z ruszczyka u pacjentów cierpiących na cukrzycę. Wręcz przeciwnie, chorym na cukrzycę zaleca się m.in. stosowanie diosminy w celu zapobiegania uszkodzeniom naczyń, na które pacjenci ci są narażeni w związku z chorobą.
