Can taking Sumamed 500 mg for 6 days harm me?
I have angina( fever 39 degrees and terrible sore throat with inability to swallow) I took for 7 days amoksiklav), unfortunately after a slight improvement everything came back. Now I got sumamed 500, 6 tablets!. I read that the dose should not exceed 1500. Does such a dosage not hurt me? I weigh 47 kg.

Owszem, przyjmuje się, że całkowita dawka azytromycyny powinna wynosić 1,5 g w ciągu 3 dni (500 mg w pojedynczej dawce dobowej), natomiast Pani ma przyjąć lek przez 6 dni, czyli po 1,5 g na każde 3 dni. Jest to całkiem normalne i właściwe dawkowanie, a także długość terapii lekiem Sumamed w anginie.
