What to do if the child received a double dose of Levopront syrup at once?
Hello, I gave my son (4 years and 4 months) 5ml of Levopront syrup and my husband did not know in a moment gave another 5. Can something serious happen?

For @Mania: There were no significant side effects with too high a dose of Levopront. In a single case, abdominal pain and vomiting were observed, which resolved without further consequences. If any other unusual symptoms are observed, you should immediately seek medical help and implement emergency treatment (gastric lavage, activated charcoal, parenteral fluid supply, etc.).
What should I do if I gave a child of 8 years twice 10 ml weight of 30 kg? Will something bad happen?

W przypadku przyjęcia większej niż zalecana dawki leku LEVOPRONT, należy niezwłocznie powiedzieć o tym lekarzowi.
Jeśli u dziecka pojawią się jakiekolwiek objawy kliniczne przedawkowania, lekarz natychmiast wdroży leczenie objawowe oraz, gdy zajdzie taka potrzeba, zastosuje typowe postępowanie doraźne (płukanie żołądka, węgiel aktywny, pozajelitowa podaż płynów, itd.).
