Good afternoon.Is it possible to divide XIGDUO tablets 5mg./1000mg.when taken, divide by half,as they are very large and I cannot swallow them.Thank you.

Principles of use of Xigduo:
• Swallow the tablet whole with half a glass of water.
• Take the tablet with a meal. This is to reduce the risk of side effects from the stomach.
• Take the tablets twice a day, once in the morning (at breakfast) and once in the evening (at dinner).
Xigduo is a medicine that contains two active substances. If the tablet is too large to swallow, discuss with your doctor the possibility of using two separate medicines, the tablets of which will be smaller and easier to take.
