Should I stop taking Broncho-Vaxom if my daughter has a severe cough?

I started the treatment two days ago but my three-year-old daughter has a strong irritating cough, it is already the third cycle she does. Can I continue or is it better to suspend and resume later?

Information contained in the summary of product characteristics:

"Cycle of preventive treatment in the case of recurrent respiratory tract infections:

One hard capsule (3.5 mg for children) per day on an empty stomach for 10 consecutive days per month for 3 consecutive months.

In the case of acute respiratory tract infections, the medicinal product may be used concomitantly with appropriate treatments.

If necessary, the cycle of preventive treatment can be repeated."

In the case of an intense, dry cough, you can use anticough drugs (calming the cough reflex) in the child. In case of intensification of ailments, I encourage you to consult a doctor. You do not need to stop your treatment with Broncho-Vaxom unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
