Hello, probably out of my stupidity because I can't explain it otherwise, I didn't read the leaflet Sumamed Forte 20ml and gave the child 2ml of pure powder with 1/3 cup of water instead of making a suspension and administering 2.5ml of the prepared drug. We have a treatment for 7 days in total, this was our first dose.

Please consult your paediatrician immediately, you may have overdosed on the maximum daily dose of azithromycin. 2 ml is not a measure of powder, the powder is measured in mg, so we are not able to tell what dose of medicine you gave to your child.
If your child develops vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, headaches or dizziness, or temporary hearing loss, you should go to the hospital emergency department immediately.
