Can Fucidin be used for a year for sunny lesions on the face?

The dermatologist for a sunny lesion on the nose /actinic keratosis / prescribed me Fucidin cream 24 packs for a period of one year again. For some time I lubricated the lesion, but without improvement. I don't understand why 24 packs is like 2 packs for one month?
I stopped using this Fucidin and I'm thinking about another visit to the doctor.

Indications for Fucidin:

Topical treatment of bacterial skin infections caused by fusidic acid-sensitive bacteria, such as: impetigo, boils, sweat gland inflammation, folliculitis, cuticle and fig.

Fucidin ointment should be applied to diseased areas of the skin two to three times a day. The recommended treatment period is 7 days.

Your doctor may recommend a different course of use than the package leaflet or the summary of product characteristics. In such situations (especially if there are indications that a mistake may have occurred), doubts should be discussed directly with a doctor.

On our website, it is possible to use a teleconsultation with a dermatologist - the service is available in the e-visit tab:
