Ryaltis is not a drug intended to be used continuously throughout the year without clear medical supervision. Ryaltis can be used regularly during allergy symptoms, as it works best with systematic use. However, it is not always necessary to use it continuously throughout the year – treatment during the allergy season is often sufficient.
It is a complex preparation containing a steroid and an antihistamine, which is usually used seasonally (during the pollen season) or in cycles for allergic rhinitis. Long-term, months-long administration of nasal steroids can lead to dryness and thinning of the nasal mucosa, and even bleeding.
After discontinuing the drug, the symptoms may return if you still come into contact with the allergen, but this does not mean that the drug is addictive. If symptoms persist for a long time or you have doubts about the time of use, it is worth consulting a doctor who will assess whether continuation of treatment is necessary.
